Personal reflection
A structured way to make sense of what happened and how the experience affected you.
Terms & Responsible Use
Vital Preceptor can help a nurse organize an experience and prepare for a human conversation. It cannot replace professional judgment, emergency support, or the people responsible for clinical and workplace decisions.
Read the BoundariesDevelopment-Stage Notice
Vital Preceptor is still in development. This page states the product boundaries and participation expectations already established for testing. Final legal Terms of Use—including intellectual-property, account, liability, governing-law, and dispute provisions—will be completed and reviewed before public beta access opens.
What Vital Preceptor Is For
The experience asks purposeful, research-informed questions to help a nurse sort through a difficult work situation, identify what remains unresolved, and prepare to speak with someone they trust.
A structured way to make sense of what happened and how the experience affected you.
Help identifying what clarification, support, or follow-up conversation may be useful.
You decide whether to bring any part of your reflection or summary to another person.
What It Does Not Provide
It does not diagnose mental-health conditions, provide therapy, monitor for emergencies, or dispatch help.
It does not diagnose, recommend treatment or medication, direct patient care, or replace clinical policies and qualified supervision.
It does not determine whether care was correct, whether an error occurred, or whether an event is reportable.
It does not decide fault, negligence, malpractice, scope-of-practice, disciplinary, licensure, or employment questions.
A reflection or summary is not clinical documentation, an incident report, an authoritative account, or a legal conclusion.
It is not a competency evaluation, performance-management system, or employer-facing report.
Your Responsibilities
Do not enter patient or coworker names, facility or unit identifiers, exact dates, employee or license numbers, or distinctive clinical and workplace details.
Bring clinical questions to an appropriately qualified person. Use formal workplace, safety, or reporting channels when a situation requires them.
AI-generated language can be incomplete or wrong. Edit any summary so it accurately reflects your experience before you copy, download, or share it.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass safeguards, automate excessive traffic, misuse another person’s access, or use the experience for unlawful or harmful purposes.
Immediate Help
Sessions are not watched by a person and cannot trigger emergency intervention. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. If an urgent patient-care or workplace-safety issue is occurring, follow the applicable clinical and organizational procedures.
Preview & Beta Access
The current preview and planned private beta are development experiences, not finished clinical products. Features, prompts, safeguards, availability, and access limits may change as the product is evaluated.
Private beta participation is voluntary, limited to adults age 18 or older, and requires the participant to review and accept the beta consent and data notice before beginning. Joining the beta list expresses interest; it does not guarantee or immediately provide access.
Reasonable limits may be applied to protect participants, prevent abuse or automated traffic, and keep development-stage access sustainable. Vital Preceptor does not promise unlimited AI usage.
Your Reflection
A generated summary is an editable, unverified personal reflection. You may revise it, copy or download it, share it with someone you choose, or discard it.
Vital Preceptor does not certify the accuracy of a user’s account or an AI-generated summary. Nothing is automatically sent to an employer, manager, preceptor, hospital, licensing body, or other outside person.
Before Public Beta
Before access opens beyond controlled testing, Vital Preceptor will publish complete Terms of Use covering ownership and licensing, account actions, service availability, warranties, liability, governing law, dispute procedures, and contact information for legal notices.
